Michael Sterling

Vice President of Philanthropy & Partnerships

Michael is a seasoned fundraising strategist who specializes in building bridges between the non-profit sector, private foundations, and corporate sponsors. With a strong background in major gift cultivation and corporate social responsibility (CSR), he has successfully secured millions in funding for humanitarian programs worldwide. His focus is on expanding the foundation's financial resources and strategic alliances to maximize our on-the-ground impact.

Dr. Sarah Mitchell

Founder & Executive Director

Sarah brings over 15 years of experience in international development, focusing on sustainable community infrastructure and public health. Before joining World Reach Foundation, she managed large-scale field operations in partnership with USAID and several global health initiatives. She holds a master's in public administration from Georgetown University and is deeply passionate about designing scalable programs that empower underserved communities to thrive independently.

Mrs Shandi Anderson

Secretary

Shandi is a dedicated and resilient professional currently serving as a secretary at the Worldreach Foundation. Known for her strong organizational skills and calm demeanor, she plays an important role in supporting the foundation’s daily operations and outreach efforts. Her life took a difficult turn when she lost her husband during the COVID-19 pandemic. Despite the deep personal loss, Leyaan remained steadfast for the sake of her young daughter. Today, she lives with her mother, drawing strength from family while continuing to rebuild her life with quiet determination. Through her work and personal journey, Leyaan embodies perseverance, compassion, and hope for a brighter future for herself and her child.

Elena Rodriguez

Global Community Director

Elena serves as the vital link between our foundation and the grassroots organizations we support. Bilingual and holding a master's in social work, her expertise lies in cross-cultural communication and capacity building. She ensures that all of our programs are culturally relevant and championed by local leaders. Elena spends much of her time coordinating with field teams to ensure our initiatives are genuinely driven from the ground up.

Marcus Holloway

Chief Communications Officer

A storyteller and digital strategist at heart, Marcus oversees the foundation’s public presence, from global advocacy campaigns to media relations. He has a rich background in public relations and digital marketing, having previously directed communications for several prominent non-profits in Washington, D.C. Marcus uses his expertise to shine a light on the human stories behind our statistics, connecting our US and global supporters with the direct impact of their contributions.
